Dr. Jane Gumnick participates as a teacher and adviser with the local law enforcement Crisis Intervention Team (CIT.) The CIT is a joint program involving the Chattanooga Police Department, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department, and local community mental health services.
On Friday, July 22, 2011, Law enforcement officers from Hamilton County who participated in the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training graduated in the University Center Auditorium at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
